Kerry McQuaide, SCBWI’s Featured Illustrator of the Month

Kerry McQuaide, in her last month as EasternUp’s Regional Advisor, was named SCBWI’S Featured Illustrator of the Month. An image from her book, THE BIGGEST, HIGHEST WAVE (Peter Pauper Press), greeted visitors from around the world when they landed on SCBWI’s homepage. TeMika Grooms, Manager of Illustration an esign at SCBWI, also interviewed Kerry, where she discussed her rise from SCBWI newbie to RA, and from pre-published to traditionally published.
