We normally have four Shoptalk meetings around the region: Plattsburgh, Albany, Poughkeepsie, and New City, but because of Covid 19, we are meeting online.
From novice writer to published author, we provide a variety of classes, workshops, and ways for you to connect with other writers and industry professionals. And when you first begin the writing and publishing journey, having writer buddies and more experienced professionals in your circle will save you so much time and heartache. We think of our group as a collective resource of experience and knowledge and support!

If you join SCBWI, you will be automatically added to our mailing list for events and classes. Members receive discounts for all of our programming and well as free weekly SCBWI webinars, which only started this year because of the pandemic, but have been wonderful!
